Responsible AI use, human oversight, academic integrity, privacy, security, and prohibited conduct.

Purpose

The Leaders of Tomorrow Club embraces Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to enhance education, leadership, innovation, productivity, and creativity.

This AI Usage Policy establishes responsible, ethical, and transparent rules governing the use of AI within the Leaders of Tomorrow Platform and Club activities.

The objectives of this Policy are to:

Promote responsible AI use.
Encourage innovation.
Protect academic integrity.
Safeguard personal information.
Prevent misuse.
Ensure fairness.
Maintain human accountability.

AI is intended to assist people—not replace human judgment, responsibility, or learning.

Definitions

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Software capable of generating content, assisting decision-making, analyzing information, recognizing patterns, or automating tasks.

AI-Generated Content

Any text, image, audio, video, code, presentation, design, or other material created wholly or partially using AI.

Human Oversight

Review, supervision, or approval by a human before relying on AI-generated outputs where appropriate.

Prohibited Use of AI

AI must not be used to:

Cheat in academic work.
Submit AI-generated assignments as entirely original work where prohibited.
Plagiarize.
Create fake certificates.
Forge official Club documents.
Impersonate another person.
Generate misleading information intentionally.
Create malicious software.
Circumvent Platform security.
Generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
Harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
Manipulate Club elections or voting.
Create fake attendance records.
Bypass identity verification systems.
Attempt to defeat fraud-prevention measures.
Generate deepfakes intended to deceive or harm.

Misuse of AI may result in disciplinary action.

Academic Integrity

The Club supports responsible learning.

Members should:

Use AI as a learning assistant.
Verify information independently.
Cite AI use where required by an instructor or competition rules.
Complete their own learning.

Members should not use AI to:

Replace independent learning.
Misrepresent their abilities.
Gain unfair academic advantages.

AI should enhance education—not undermine it.

Human Oversight

Important decisions should not rely solely on AI-generated outputs.

Human review is expected before relying on AI for matters involving:

Official Club communications.
Partnership agreements.
Financial decisions.
Membership disciplinary actions.
Legal documents.
Safety-related matters.
Public announcements.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it.

Transparency

Where appropriate, members should disclose when content has been substantially generated or significantly assisted by AI, particularly in contexts where transparency is expected, such as competitions, publications, or collaborative projects.

The Club may identify AI-powered features within the Platform so users understand when they are interacting with automated systems.

AI-Generated Content

Users remain solely responsible for content generated with AI.

Before sharing AI-generated material, users should:

Review accuracy.
Correct errors.
Remove inappropriate content.
Verify sources where applicable.
Respect copyright.
Ensure compliance with Club policies.

AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or outdated information.

Data Protection

Users should avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information to AI systems unless:

They are authorized to do so.
The information is adequately protected.
The processing complies with the Club's Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Examples of sensitive information include:

Passwords
Private identification numbers

Confidential Club documents
Personal data of other members

Confidential Club information must not be entered into external AI services unless expressly authorized and appropriate safeguards are in place.

This includes:

Internal meeting minutes.
Partnership negotiations.

Member databases.

The Leaders of Tomorrow Platform may include AI-powered features to improve the user experience.

Examples include:

Writing assistance.
Translation support.
Smart search.
Frequently asked question assistants.
Event recommendations.
Educational guidance.
Productivity tools.

The availability, functionality, and limitations of AI features may change over time.

Automated Decisions

Where AI contributes to recommendations or automated processes, meaningful human oversight will be maintained for significant decisions affecting members, where reasonably practicable.

Examples include:

Membership review support.
Event recommendations.
Content categorization.
Spam detection.
Fraud detection alerts.

Final decisions affecting members should be made or confirmed by authorized human representatives where appropriate.

Bias and Fairness

AI systems may produce biased or inaccurate results.

Users should:

Question unexpected outputs.
Verify important information.
Avoid discriminatory use of AI.
Report suspected harmful bias.

The Club will seek to improve AI systems where practical and appropriate.

Exploit Platform vulnerabilities.
Interfere with fraud prevention mechanisms.

Security violations may result in immediate suspension and referral to the appropriate authorities where warranted.

Users must respect intellectual property rights when using AI.

Members should not:

Use AI to reproduce copyrighted works unlawfully.
Remove copyright notices.
Misappropriate trademarks.
Claim ownership of third-party content.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted work complies with copyright and licensing obligations.

The Club may use AI to support:

Educational workshops.
Coding sessions.
Leadership training.
Innovation competitions.
Administrative efficiency.
Accessibility services.
Event organization.
Data analysis.

Where AI is used in judging competitions or evaluations, the Club should ensure that appropriate human oversight is maintained.

Reporting Misuse

Suspected misuse of AI may be reported through the official reporting channels.

Reports should include:

Description of the incident.
Date and time.
Relevant evidence where available.
Individuals involved, if known.

Reports made in good faith will be reviewed appropriately.

Knowingly false reports may themselves violate Club policies.

Enforcement

Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following measures, depending on the severity and circumstances:

Educational guidance.
Verbal warning.
Written warning.
Mandatory retraining.
Removal of AI-generated content.
Restriction of access to certain AI features.
Suspension from specific activities.
Suspension or termination of membership.
Referral to educational institutions or competent authorities where appropriate.

The Club will seek to apply enforcement measures fairly and proportionately.

Policy Updates

The Club may revise this AI Usage Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, best practices, or Club operations.

The current version will always be published on the Leaders of Tomorrow Platform.

Continued use of AI features after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

By using AI-powered features provided by the Leaders of Tomorrow Platform or by participating in Club activities involving AI, you acknowledge that:

You have read and understood this AI Usage Policy.
You agree to use AI responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with applicable law and Club policies.
You understand that misuse of AI may result in disciplinary action or other appropriate measures.

Electronic acceptance of this Policy through the Platform shall have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, subject to applicable law.
